About me
Emma Cudahy has worked at Irvington Preparatory Academy since the 2019-2020 school year, and has been working in education at the secondary level since 2017. Prior to becoming a high school teacher, Emma completed two Master’s degrees in History & Jewish Studies and taught as a graduate student at the college level. Since joining the teaching staff at IPA, Emma has become a mentor teacher on the Instructional Leadership Team and works to help mentor and observe the teaching staff. She is also a member of the School Leadership Team for IPA’s Early College program, The College Acceleration Workshop. She is thrilled to be able to use her graduate school education and teaching experiences, combined with extensive background in traditional, project-based, collaborative, and dual credit/AP teaching styles, to help students close the gap and achieve their college dreams.
