Indiana Early College Summit 2026

I feel very fortunate to share my love of Science through my career as an educator. This is my 23rd year of teaching! During the day, I teach Chemistry I, Chemistry II (dual credit Chem 101), Advanced Chemistry (dual credit Chem 105 and 106), Biology II (dual credit Biol 105 and 107), Introduction to Teaching (dual credit EDUC 101) and Child and Adolescent Development (dual credit EDUC 121) at Rising Sun High School. I have been a dual credit instructor through Ivy Tech Community College since 2012. My other responsibilities at school include the School Leadership Team, the bargaining committee of our teacher's union, coaching Academic Team, sponsoring the Junior class and sponsoring Science Club. Outside of school, I have taught a night class of Chemistry 105 and Anatomy and Physiology (Bio 163) at a local college for the past 7 years. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family which includes my husband and three adult children. I am passionate about dual credit because I have seen the impact it has had on my own children's college success!
