About me
Aline Keledjian is a firm believer in the power of storytelling. In her role as the Early Middle College (EMC) Departmental Analyst at the Michigan Department of Education (MDE), she uses quantitative and qualitative student and school district data to illustrate Michigan's EMC landscape in a variety of accessible formats. She has presented to educators at 6 statewide conferences to encourage courageous conversations about equity and access initiatives for EMC students. As a descendant of genocide survivors and the daughter of an immigrant, Aline's work is grounded in valuing people's lived experiences, as well as creating environments where communities feel heard. Asking important questions and highlighting issues that are often neglected are key components to her work. Aline is a 2024 graduate of the George Washington University with a B.A. in International Affairs and History, and she is a 2024-2026 Govern for America Fellow.
