About me
I am a fierce believer in the power of education, both in America and around the world. For the past ten years I've helped lead the Early College Academy at Penn High School while also teaching dual credit Speech, English, and Capstone at different times. I also love being an assistant coach on Penn's Speech Team and serving as an Instructional Coach. In my free time, I love reading, hiking, traveling, geeking out on musical theatre, and spending time with family, especially my four kids and husband of 26 years. Since 2011, I've also been actively involved with the nonprofit Awake & Alive, serving on the board and leading teams to Ethiopia to experience and support the organization's work in education there.
